HDR gaming support?

All,

Just got one of the new HDR10 compatible Samsung UHD+HDR displays (KS8000) for my home theater room. HDMI 2.0 for input. I definitely want to do some gaming on it in HDR. Obviously I'll need a card with HDMI 2.0 output, but what is the current state of game / driver support for this? I saw it mentioned in Pascal and Polaris reviews but did not see much testing of it. The plan is to wait for Vega / Non-Titan GP102 so I can actually push 4k

AMD has full HDR output capabilities enabled on current GPUs:

Nvidia has it enabled I guess? That's the best source I could come up with in a short search:

I hope we'll see the first games with proper HDR support by the end of this year.

thanks for the post, looks good on both sides then for 2016-2017 at least on the graphics card side. Looks like its up to the game developers to implement. Hopefully a few of them patch it in after the fact, I'd love to run Witcher 3 HDR+4k
