I have the hardest time searching for what I am looking for because it seems impossible to find, so i am turning to you guys for assistance.

My parents live in the country and feed the squirrels and deer, etc. I am looking for some way to let them watch "live" the animals eat on their 60" LCD Tv. I figured there must be a camera with a 20-30' hdmi plug.

I know it can be done for several hundred dollars. I also know i could get a cheap webcam, send it to a laptop, and then run HDMI from the laptop to the tv. Or get an Android box, to run a webcam to, and then to the TV via hdmi, but i cant believe there isnt just a simple camera that has an HDMI output for simple connectivity.

Anyone know if there is a certain product name, or a way to classify what i am looking for? I even tried HDMI Baby monitor and got nothing.

Even any Cheap/Easy ideas for how to get a webcam outside, and view it on the tv LIVE. i know they have SD card storage, but that is no fun.

THanks in advance.

Most surveillance cameras are pretty low resolution; HD hasn't gotten cheap enough to put in consumer grade appliances like baby monitors. Maybe search for HD surveillance cameras would bring up something you can use. Probably won't be cheap, though.

ETA: On the other hand, a decent HD setup would produce really stunning results, so maybe worth the expense?
