I'm trying to connect a second computer to my NEC Monitor. I have a vga port available on the monitor but only a dvi and hdmi port on my Asus Radeon HD 6670. The card came with a adaptor vga to dvi but that doesn't work. Would a hdmi to vga adaptor work?
 
HDMI is digital only.

DVI is usually digital and analog.

VGA is analog.

There shouldnt be any reason why the DVI adaptor to VGA wouldnt work if it came with the card. Are you sure the output is on etc?
