HDMI Ports Output Different Quality

Just got a samsung pn50b560 and a ps3. I've found a weird issue - on HDMI port 1, the quality looks the best, regardless of the cable. The other ports look slightly off. I've tried all the possible combinations of cable and port so I'm sure its the HDMI ports. Is this common to all hdtvs, or is something wrong with my tv?

Your TV probably has settings that can be changed independently for each input. So your settings on the HDMI 1 port are probably better calibrated than the others.

One input is probably on a different preset than the other (I.e. Movie vs. Sports vs. Game) as the poster above mentioned. Check your modes / picture settings to make sure they match.
