My current setup:

Core i7 920
6GB Corsair XMS3
WD 640 Black
Corsair 650 PSU
BFG GTX 260

I need to get ahold of a HDMI out video card, I have not been or looked at the market since last year when I built my current rig. I simply want to stream 1080p movies from PC to HDTV and need a video card to do it, what would you guys recommend? Thanks!

Buy a hd5770 for 150$ and sell your gtx 260 for about 140$. There about equal in performance if you game also.

According to the pictures on Newegg, your current video card came with both a DVI to HDMI adaptor and a cable to hook up the optical out on your Mobo to your videocard. Put all that together and you get HDMI to you TV with audio and video.

No need for a new card....

Do you need audio over hdmi or just the image? Just the image than practically any video card will work. If you want an actual hdmi slot on the card then you'll have to check before buying.

The 210 is apparently not good for interlaced video according to the AnandTech review, so you need at least a 220.

Your 260 would work with the DVI-HDMI adapter that you may have lost. A Google search says all 260s support them.

Ask BFG about ordering one?

The 260 will need a spdif cable as well to get audio over hdmi so you'll need to find one of those cables as well to plug into the card and MOBO/sound card. Otherwise I'd find a cheap ATI card since almost all of them have a soundchip for hdmi sound. I'd probably go for a 4850 if you can find one since it's the cheapest card with good performance.

Actually just saw this:

$20 is a great price. Perfect for HTPC since it's passive.
