HDMI on LCD Not Crisp

Ati Radeon 5770 HD 1 GB on an Asus VH242H monitor. Tried HDMI cable and text is blurry. Anything I can do for that? I am using the DVD-D. Movies do look better though with the HDMI, though hate having to change cables.

Make sure you have no Overscan in CCC monitor settings.
Also if monitor has any settings in pixel ratio department, set it to 1:1 pixel match (this is common for TVs)

OSD has Overscan or Full under Aspect Control. In between that is 4:3 but it skips over that. I do not see Overscan in CCC. I see no difference in Full or Overscan when I switch.

ETA: I have not had an ATI card since 1998! Unfamiliar with how to get to the DTV portion of the CCC, now I found it and moved overscaling to 0. Much better.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
