I have a windows 7 htpc with ati radeon 4350 card/blue ray player, and 2 tb of disk space. I was having problems where it would work fine, I'd turn off the tv, come back a day later, and just had a black screen. Switching inputs wouldnt do anything, turning off and on the receiver made no difference, etc. Finally, after the new radeon drivers came out the issue is gone. However, I now have another problem.
I got a pc based blu ray player for Christmas and bought the powerdvd ultra upgrade. My HTPC is hooked up through the Denon AVR 590 via HDMI which is then hooked up via HDMI to my TV and in the device manager, the TV shows up as a generic television.
The problem I'm having is that sometimes I will get an error when I try to play a blu ray title that basically says to stop using multiple display devices and just use one device. I don't have the actual error with me right now, but a reboot of the pc fixes the issue. All mounted blu-ray ISO's play fine and the blu ray player and power dvd software have the latest updates.
Any idea why this is happening?
