HDMI cables - what AWG?

I'm ordering some HDMI cables off Monoprice have have several options, 24awg, 28 awg, etc. Which to get? Does it matter?

Depends on the length of the cable.

I would probably go 28 on the 6 and 24 on the 15, just to be safe.

Yes, I touch myself regularly with HDMI cables and use HDMI repeaters as anal beads.

indeed. I believe you won't really need larger gauge cables until you hit distance runs.

??? That site looks like they just ripped monoprice's webpage and raised the prices by a few bucks.

Are they related somehow?

Edit: They must be, they even have the exact same specials listed on the front page, except again, ehdmi's prices are higher than monoprice. Weird.
