I have dual monitors, one is connected via HDMI, the other via DVI. Sometimes when I turn on my computer the monitor connected via HDMI says "display not connected check signal cable". Trying to detect it through windows or CCC does nothing. The second monitor that is connected through DVI works fine. The only way to get the monitor thats connected through HDMI to work is to connect it through DVI, then its instantly detected. I am not sure whats causing this to happen, the HDMI cable is brand new and works fine when testing on my cable box.

This is a stupid issue.
1. Had to unplug the DVI monitor. then unplug the hdmi monitor.
2. Connect the HDMI monitor VIA DVI (works)
3. Unplug the DVI cable and connect it back VIA HDMI (only way for hdmi to work)
4. Replug the DVI monitor in, now both are working fine.
