I havent had any problems with the audio on my HTPC until now. Im using an Intel DG45ID board and it is hooked up to a 42" sharp LCD via HDMI. Audio works fine in windows or media center but not in PowerDVD when Im trying to watch blu rays. It was working fine last night but not today. I just picked up the xmen blu ray trilogy that was released yesterday. When I tried to watch the first one, PowerDVD told me I needed an update. After installing the update I can watch the movie but I get no audio through HDMI.

There is another audio problem I was having and Im not sure if its related. For a while now I have been having these error messages on start up about the IDT audio driver not working. I have just been ignoring them but today I installed the update from Intels site. The errors went away, but I dont know if I have inadvertently screwed something up. I tried uninstalling the IDT driver codec but it just reinstalled when I restarted the computer.
