So I just got the Samsung G7 43 inch monitor. Running it at 4K 120 hz. (wanted OLED so bad but I leave web pages and documents up for hours at a time)
For the first few days I had the PC hooked up to the HDMI ARC input (HDMI 1).
I was getting random few second black outs on the screen during gaming. I tried 4 different HDMI 2.1 ultra cables.
On a lark I switched to the NON-ARC HDMI input (HDMI 2) and... problems seem to be gone.
I'm not seeing this as a known issue with HDMI ARC ports?
Am I missing something?

OK, so I tried DP port and once asleep, the monitor will not wake up unless I reboot the display drivers? (WIN-CTRL-SFT-B)

WTF?

I'm not up on ARC but you probably don't need that for a monitor?

I'm using display port now. It woke up with HDMI but had random brief blackouts during gaming. Even on the non-ARC HDMI port.
That problem is gone now that I've switched to display port, but NOW it won't wake up without resetting graphics drivers.

My card is EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 FTW3 24G-P5-3987-KR.

Wait, did you do the video card BIOS update for DisplayPort? There's an errata and BIOS flash.
