HDLoader for the PS2

Anybody used this yet?

One of the reasons that I rarely ever play my PS2 is because of the horrendous load times on many games. This product sounds awesome, but are there any drawbacks?

I've heard that you can't play the games online if you run them off the hard drive. For those games, could I run them off the CD and get online playability? (Although, now that EASports will offer online play for the Xbox, this is probably a moot point.)

I have one. It cuts the load time down dramatically. So far, I've only had one weird experience with the hdloader... when I copied the .hack games to the hd, for some reason, none of the voices work. all the other sound effects and music is there, just not the voices.

haven't gotten the time to really play around with it, though.

I have one also. I only tried 1 game so far but its working fine. There is a list at ps2nfo.com with what games experience problems and some workarounds. Most can still play by messing with the hdloader modes.
