I used to have this program, it was actually useful... i can't remember the exact name... but i know it existed.. might be hd_kill.exe, basically, it just wipes the fat on your hd... anyone know where i can get a copy?

EDIT: I swear on my AT membership that it isn't for evil doing :)

Maybe I'm way off base, but wouldn't a quick format (Format /Q) do the same thing?

Edit: Meaning wiping the FAT; not the same as KillDisk.

yes, you are ;) i have linux partitions, and fat 32 partitions, through some stupidity, i utterly messed my partitions up, fdisk won't even load ;)

Or try Wipe or Zap Here

Zap only destroys the first 128 sectors of a hard drive.

GWSCAN found Here wipes the entire hard drive.
