You need to take a closer look at the product. It's all 3 movies.

So it is only overpriced by 2x

Going rate for a HD-DVD title is ~20-25 bucks. I'd say it's priced just right.

Didn't see that. Ok, not that bad.

Is the quality that much better?

Than the DVD version? Yes. You can upconvert a DVD but the HD-DVD/Blu-Ray versions have richer colors.

Well, M:I2 is worth approximately $0, and if the third was a suck-fest like the second then he's really only getting one movie worth watching.

It's like the Rocky collection, you can't really count Rocky V since it's not worth watching.

What? Are you serious? You're pricing HD DVDs and you don't even know what the quality is like?

well considering that the content on HD-DVD's is a native 1080p (although current HD-DVD players can only output 1080i) and that the bit depth IIRC is higher then regular DVD's not to mention better sound, then yes i'd say the quality is much better.

Upconverting a 480p picture will never look anywhere as good as a HD picture. Not sure why so many people fall for this marketing term.

yea .3megapixel vs megapixels is nothing to sneeze at. but on a sh*t screen you won't notice of course, but thats a lousy way to judge something
