Hi folks, newbie here.
Got a couple questions here:
1. Antec HD cooler - any of you used it? Is it cool enough for a western digital raptor, and can it silence it sufficiently? Any HD cooler out there that boasts that it can sufficiently silence and cool a raptor? wondering when WD will come out with something bigger than 74gb...
2. HDD trays - any of you know of some names that make 5 1/4" HDD trays where u can swap in/out HDD's?
I'm trying to design a comp for audio recording purposes, and fast HDD's and quiet computing are going to have to work together in the same PC.
I'm also looking at modular case config's - ie housing the optical drives outside the main comp case. any ideas, brands, models? I'm thinking I'll make a go at keeping everything SATA.
