HDD Samsung M2 750GB

The Samsung M2 750GB is an external drive. If the the actual drive in the package is a standard 2.5" drive, it should fit and work in a notebook with the same configuration as the drive (SATA or PATA).

USB2 is a much slower bus than either SATA or PATA so, if Samsung doesn't provide specs on the drive in the package, the only way to find out may be open the package to see what's inside.

Good luck. 🙂

The USB connection/circuit board is soldered on like the Samsung S2 external drives or it's a common Sata HDD?
Thanks.

You'll have to look. All you should need is a screwdriver. The most practical way to build an external drive is to put a standard internal drive in an enclosure designed to house it and connect to it.

Hopefully, they used phillips screws, instead of a less common type, and the screws aren't glued in with Locktite.
