hdd recommendations?

My Seagate 7200.7 drives are really nice for the money! 7200.8 is probably even better. All of my Seagate drives have always been reliable.
 
both the seagate 7200.8 and Hitachi 400gb are great drives. I own a 300gb Seagate myself. I would go with the hitachi because it is far cheaper and better performance though the seagate has a 5 year warranty vs 3 for the hitachi
