HDD recommendation

I was wondering what would be a good HDD recommendation to replace my 250GB Western Digital HDD?

My budget is no more than 200$ and if possible, I'd like it to be quiet and has over 500 GB or more.

I plan on using the HDD for gaming, entertainment, and applications like Word, Excel, etc.

Any recommendations or suggestions would be appreciated.

If you don't mind getting two HDD's, you could get 2 of these for about $10 more and get an extra 140GB

I don't think you could go far wrong with any of the current 500GB drives.

Seagate 7200.10 - In the Seagate 7200.10 PMR series, the 320 is one of the lower performing models - the 250 or 500 models perform better.
WD as above or the non-enterprise version
Samsung T166 series - has the fastest transfer rate at the outer tracks, but middle of the pack on average txfer rate, and back of the pack on access time.

You should get Seagate Hard Drives because they have 5 years warranty best in the class
