My WD Caviar recently has been acting screwy causing random crashes and when ever i try to install windows i bsod's and it gets corrupted. I installed windows on my old seagate drive and it's running fine, now i was wondering if i could install my games on the WD and if they would run as fast as the WD drive and not be bottlenecked by the seagate drive i currently have 1 game installed on the WD drive and it seems to be working fine.

They are both 80gig drives, as such they're both about the same speed.

However you've stumbled across a faster method than most use. By splitting the install location away from the boot drive it means you'll have faster game load times than if the OS and game were installed on the same drive.
