HDD Question..

Okay, there are at least three billion kinds of cables or whatever for HDDs.. Which one should I get? Im getting this motherboard.

The HD cables will come with the mobo. Pic

Both SATA and IDE so you're covered which ever hard drive you get.

Well the cable type depends on the HDD that you are going to be using it on (so more info is needed to even try to answer this). I have one other question...why not just use the cables that come with the MOBO????

Whoops.. My bad, I more wanted to know which kind of HDD to get.. Which ones are the best SATA? IDE? And then theres like, IDE 100 and 133, ect...

Performance is pretty much the same but the SATA cables are easier to work with. I prefer Seagate.

Get Seagate SATA, make sure it is at least 7200 rpm & I would suggest to you (unlike the advise you might get from most - bigger is not ALWAYs better) that unless you have some very pressing need to have a gigantic amount of hard drive space, that you get a smaller size drive like an 80GB model & you will get better performance.
