I was in the process of formatting my hdd. I FDISKed first which took a couple of hours. I don't why it took so long. I tried to format afterwards. It was stuck at 0% for 10 min before I decided to reset the comp. The drive is barely 4 mos. old. It is a Quantum Fireball LCT20. The last thing I did before doing the FDISK was uninstall alot of programs in Win98. I tried formatting by using the win98 setup in the win98 cd and the win2k pro and had the same problem. Anyone have suggestions? Also, please let me know if this post is suppose to be in this forum.
