HDD Partitioning questions

Currently I have two HDDs. System files are on one and games are on another. Does this increase speed as oppossed one disk with seperate partions? I will be upgrading soon and will be implimenting RAID 0 with two HDDs. Because this is similar to using one drive, won't I be losing the speed benefit of having sys file and game files on seperate drives, or will the speed of RAID 0 make my concerns insignificant? Thanks.

RAID 0 will perform better in your situation. The way you have it now, you only get a speed benefit if you are accessing the system disk and the games disk at the same time. With RAID 0, all files greater than the stripe size are split across the two drives, thus giving you better performance for everything.
