HDD moved from an IDE system to an AHCI system - problems?

I just built a new computer with an SSD drive. So far I only have an SSD on it. Now that I am finished setting that computer up, I plan to move a data HDD, from another system, to it. That HDD was used in a system with the BIOS set to IDE, whereas in my new system the BIOS has drives set to AHCI.

I want to check before I move the HDD over:

Will there be any problems with installing that HDD to the new system? Will it and all its files and folders be fine in the new AHCI system?

AFAIK, its only the boot and system\OS drive that you have to worry about with moving from ACHI to IDE or vice versa.....as they use different HALs!

Correct. Once Windows loads up, it has no problems accessing drives irrespective of whether the BIOS is ACHI / Legacy etc., and whether the drives are connected vai IDE, SATA, RAID, SCSI and so on (although some SCSI and RAID controllers will need drivers).
