HDD Help Please

I just finished my first computer build with the help of a friend. To check the system I was running Sisoft Sandra's Burn-in Wizard. The wizard runs fine for the first 1000? iterations then reports a hard drive error during the night when I cannot catch it. The error is something about unable to access hard drive memory but I never get to see the full error. When this happens the Window's system resources screen is open and the paging file size reads about 2GB. The system only has 1GB of memory. If I close the burn-in wizard the system returns to normal without problems.

Should I return the drive? Wait and see?

Thanks.

Could simply be a program glitch or a mis communication. Run the check disc utlity and see if any error occurs.

I will run the check disc when I get home today.

Two additional items I forgot to mention:

The system ran Prime95 blend test for 24+ hours.

The Sisoft program has created this problem both (2) times I had it running.

Or you can just run the full diagnostic from the drive maker, they are usually quite good at picking up bad drives.
