HDD failure :/

Looks like I got a HDD failure. Was in middle of something but had to leave to go to some birthday party then I came back home to find all my VMs crashed and it would not even let me stop the client, so I restarted VMware, nothing. So then I decided to do a reboot, and it came back to the only thing worse then a BSOD, which is that ctrl+D screen saying there is a bad super block...

Am I fucked? Is there any possible way to recover data, or is it really a drive failure? I seem to have isolated to which drive it is as it refuses to even find it, let alone mount or scan it. Says it can't find the superblock, which last time I had that happen, needed to reformat everything and start over.

I have the worse luck ever. Not even seatools will work. It just stays stuck at "Scanning for devices..." what a freaken pain. I have the worse luck when it comes to hardware failures.

ok decided to pull the drive out and oh yeah, its BADLY pooched. Server room is too loud so I plugged it in my external hdd enclosure in my room and heard the motor forcing and trying to spin up but failing. So yeah, no longer even a Linux related thing, all hardware. Now I'm wondering what caused this in first place, but thats a question for hardware section...
