I have the following setup:
Adaptec 29160 SCSI Card:
68-pin: Quantum Atlas III 18GB U160 10,000 RPM SCSI HDD
50-pin: CD-RW, CD-ROM, DVD-ROM
IDE 0 (master): Seagate Baracudda IV 80GB 7200RPM HDD 80GB
IDE 0 (slave): Seagate Baracudda IV 80GB 7200RPM HDD 80GB
I get ~10,000- ~12,000 for the Baracudda's which should do much better than that and ~8,000 for the Quantum which definitly should be much better. That is in Sisoft Sandra 2001SE (where a ATA U100 7200rpm 30GB drive gets 36300 in their comparisons. I'm running Windows XP btw.
Oh, and here is an example of my reliable results: PIC
Anyone know why I'm getting such crappy results.
