Hey everyone! Thought I would get some help from this knowledgeable forum. I am planning on building a RAID array for a home server. The RAID card I plan to use has LED headers on it for Activity/Fault. I am going to be using a Cooler Master Stacker for the case. Unfortunately it only has the single HD LED on it. Does anyone know of a 5 1/4 drive bay status panel that has extra HDD LED's on it? Or does someone have any ideas so that I can add more LED's for the HD's? I would rather not build anything. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance!

PS-Please no comments like "activity LED's mean nothing" or "they are stupid". I have a purpose for needing them.

Thank you for your suggestion. I thought about using those. Is the fan pretty loud like some of the reviews say? I am worried about that. Even though its a server I don't want it sounding like a jet engine because of where it will be placed. :)

The fans aren't exceptionally loud. If you hvae a quiet PC, then you will hear them though. You could easily swap it out with another fan, or even place that fan on a fan controller if necessary. The only difference would be the length of the cable on the fan, but that's easy to fix.

you should be able to hook an led directly to the pin out on the card and get the plastic led holders. you can drill holes in your case, they just press in. they look good too. goodle superbrightled.
