HDCP onboard video compliant?

sportage

Lifer
I have this MB by asrock with onboard NVIDIA GeForce 7050pv video. The box says its HDCP compliant, but running the HDCP compliant checker, the checker says its not. Or that the video card needs upgrading to at least 7600 GeForce.
But all asrock MB's with this video states they are HDCP compliant.
Anyone else with the NVIDIA GeForce 7050pv MB video seeing this. Are you able to play blu-ray and HD dvd with this video (and a HDCP compliant monitor-naturally)?

If asrock says its ok, why would the HDCP hardware checker say no?

Is the particular ASRock model in question some kind of secret?

Out of the dozen or so ASRock models I found that fit the vague description here, all stated support for HDCP over the DVI port only. Are you using the DVI port? If so, are you plugging directly or using an adapter of any kind (e.g. HDMI)?

What display drivers are you using? I would recommend the latest from NVIDIA. Since you didn't specify the OS:

Select > GeForce (Product Type) > GeForce 7 Series > Operating System > Search

Which playback application and compliance checker are you using?
