Hi, I just recently got an XFX 7850 2GB (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...) and was wondering a few things about it..
First, I wonder if it's getting too hot to try any overclocking. Playing games and stress testing its gone as high as about 75C. I've read that as high as 85C is fine, but I'm not so sure. I was also wondering about ways to cool it. I don't think my case has much room for a VGA cooler - I could try for better case fans. I've heard of people putting their on paste on the GPU, I do have some AC5 but have never done that to a GPU.
Secondly, I was wondering what kind of general performance can be expected. Are other people with this card maxing out most current games and getting good FPS? I'm currently playing the new Bioshock on all Ultra managing getting around 30-40 FPS constant.
