hd650 pci tv tuner card, shoule it show up in control panel?

got a hd650 pci, it gets seen when i plugged it in, i installed the drivers, but i don't see the thing in control panel...

also, it doesn't seem to see any channels when Cat Media Center does its scan... when the CMC fires up it does a system scan and doesn't generate an error, so i'm assuming that the thing is seen by the CMC...

the tuner i took out worked fine with the cable...

just wondering if there's some magic to this thing... or if it's just busted...

In the control panel? Or device manager?

If it gets detected on install and you installed the drivers, it should be there. Did you hook your antenna/cable up to the right connector?

meant device manager, but was wondering if it showed up in control panel like the physx properties and audio card, etc...

and, after the 'right' plug didn't do anything i tried the other one, and all the different permutations of antenna/cable/qam in the cmc...

that's why i was wondering if it was magic or something, i've tried all the mundane things...
