Hi everybody.

Today I bought my new third screen, Philips 221EL, I just tried to set them up, but they don't work. Just two of them. I read that I need a Display Port adapter, because I don't have a DP port on my HD5670 Sapphire 1GB DD3. Can somebody link me what I have to buy for get my screens to works together?
I have my 24" with HDMI port, my 19" with VGA ( It have just this port this screen ) and my new 22" with DVI.

Please help me, I have to buy an adaptor but I don't know which one.
Thank's very much and hope somebody help me ASAP.

you need to post the exact card you have, as it might not even support eyefinity

There should be no such thing as a GDDR3 Radeon HD 5670; it should only come with GDDR5. Are you sure it's not a Radeon HD 5570 instead? It uses GDDR3.

You'll need something like this, along with an HDMI cable.

If it does not have a display port, it does not feature eyefinity. Many of the lower end cards are using custom board layouts. It is not a standard feature, as it seemed like it was when the 5 series lineup launched and were reviewed.

Yes, I'm aware of those. They actually use the display port, and include a display-port to DVI adapter in the box. There is a chip on board that the dispay port is connected through, which acts as a active adapter. With 2-actual dvi outputs, thats gives the user 3 DVI outputs total.
Great idea, and not much more expensive.

I know their site says that, but I am betting its wrong. going from DVI to DP wont work. I bet that card doesnt support eyefinity

what OS are you on btw?

on XP you can only have 2 screens per card period

if you can return the card, this is probably the safest simplest option if none of your monitors is larger than 1920 x 1xx0

no adapters needed, though you will have to use an hdmi cable.

otherwise you will need to find a new card. a used 5770 with active dp to dvi sl adapter will work too.

In the sapphire website, section hd5670 there is the only gdd3 card which is my card. On the website says that SUPPORT EYEFINITY with there monitors. But i don't have a DP. So i tought, it would work if I convert my monitor DVI to DP and then use a DP converter to DVI? Now i can't post link because i'm from my iphone

Edit. Link. http://www.sapphiretech.com/presenta...n=&lid=4&leg=0

While the summary for the 5670 says Eyefinity, I believe they just copy+pasted that paragraph as to explain the capabilities of the video card.

But if you look down in the specifications area, where it lists all the features with an icon, Eyefinity is not listed. You'll see the Eyefinity icon listed specifically on other product pages, like this one: http://www.sapphiretech.com/presentation/product/?cid=1&gid=3&sgid=915&pid=310&psn=&lid=4&leg=0
