It will probably be so close in price of the actual 4870, that it won't worth buying it.

Even the power supply connector requirements are the same as a 4870.

450 Watt or greater power supply with two 6-pin PCI-Express® power connectors recommended

Unless the price is lower than a 4870 (which can already be found for $145 AR), I'm not sure I see the point of this card.

Wow, those rebates are sick. $145, that's nearly the same as a HD4850. Hell, it's the same as we pay for a HD4850. Well, in Holland a gddr5 HD4850 for 150 euro's could be nice. Just a little cheaper then a HD4870, little more expensive then a HD4850.
