P43 based mobo, E5200 (to ~3.5GHz if I can), 4GB DDR2 (2x2GB), Radeon HD4850 (stock), 4 hard drives + optical.

I'm looking at a Corsair CX400w, which I think should be able to give more than enough juice (rated 400w @ 40c and 30A on the 12v for 360w), and I won't be adding anything to this computer (maybe 1 extra HDD tops), and the PSU wouldn't be used for a future system.

Would a 400w be too risky?
OCZ Stealth XTream is 500w and about the same price, but only has 2xSATA, so I don't really want that.
Hiper 530w is only slightly more expensive, but I am not sure how good or bad Hiper are.
Antec Earthwatts 430w or 500w are also possibilities, but I am trying to keep my budget down, and both are more expensive than the Corsair.

I'm limited in selection because I want it all from one place (in the UK), and those seem like the viable choices.

Xtremesystems suggested I need 420w (I know it overestimates).
Corsair suggested the VX450 (which is almost 50% more than the CX400), so that's not an option.
Most review sites seem to indicate 270w max for an HD4850 with a non-overclocked quad core (Q6850 or Q9770), so an E5200 overclocked shouldn't use much more than those I don't think, so maybe 300w total under load, which is why 400w seems sensible enough.

See RIG2 in my sig....running similar parts/power requirements on an EW380 without fail for over a year. I would pickup an EW500 myself if I were you (similar price as the Corsair you're looking at) and you'd have the extra juice. The only reason I've stuck with my EW380 this long is b/c it hasn't caused any issues, and it came with the case. If I had it to do from the start, I'd pickup something bigger in the event of a beefier video card.
