Those cards were overpriced when they came out more then a year ago, their prices didn't go down at all. The reason for the price gouging is because the new cards are selling it... because most people have waited two years for a reasonably priced card to upgrade (skipping the 2900 / Geforce8 generation entire).

yeah, the problem with these video cards is not that they are not a "fair" price, it's that almost everybody is charging a LOT more than msrp for them.Originally posted by: ronnn
