HD3850 X2 tested

The HD3850X2 doesn't seem to perform as well at the highest resolutions. Isn't that the kind of scenario where multi-GPU rendering is supposed to shine?

But it's a fairly moot point since you really can't actually get an HD3850X2. Unless you want to do what the reviewers did and underclock an HD3870X2.
 
And why so many tests without using AA? I mean who buys these $300 or higher priced cards to run without AA/AF?
 
Id prefer a single GPU solution to a dual GPU solution because of its multiple drawbacks. Never liked the idea of GX2, X2, or w/e.
 
Considering i found the 3870 X2 to be a much worse experience overall than my 8800 GTX..a 3850X2 doesn't appeal to me even remotely.
