Try and pick up a OLD x1950pro or hell, a 8800gts 320mb. With some luck some1 will sell the 8800GTS 320mb for $50. A x1950XT shouldn't cost more then 30ish.

That Radeon 4650 will be lightyears faster then the 3200 while being pretty quiet. That card doesn't need much cooling yet it has a dual slot heatsink on it. The 3200 can play games on low okay, by its not going to be fun at all. Especially if you need to game and the card is going to be a placeholder, the 4650 is the best value around.

Although most people sell their old 8800GTS 320mb for $50, you're gonna have to pry it from my cold dead hands. It was so awesome using that card with my old s939 system.

I've got one in my laptop, and it's really not that great.
Most stuff is vaguely playable, on low res and low settings, but don't expect much of anything out of it at all.

hmmm

My GF's PC has a X2- 780G combo in it and it can handle older games reasonably well, but even with a 3450 added to it for hybrid crossfire it falls in a heap when the crysis install DVD is waved anywhere near it.

As for CS: Source and frozen throne, that should run OK.
