Hi guys,
After recommendation from fellow ATers, I assembled my new computer based on the Asus bundle i got from the amd conference. Everything seems to be fine except the asus boot screen (when you choose to go to bios config) seems a little longer than usual. I am booting from my seagate ST3250823AS SATA drive connected to primary SATA with a WD WD1600JB-00DUA1 as my primary IDE master. I don't know if this has anything to do with the bios flash, but after I flashed to 1005 and updated some driver from the asus site, my asus boot screen takes more than a minute! The worse thing is my WD drive is completely gone (not even detected in bios)! However, after restarting the WD hd comes back again. This happens every time I boot up my computer from complete shut off. So i have to restart once everytime i boot up my computer. It is probably not the WD hd's fault since i've been using it in another computer for a while without this kind of problem.
Fellow ATers with the same motherboard please help!
