HD Virus? HD Death? (Corrupting data)

Hey guys,

I have a problem that's been plaguing my machine for the past 2 months and I never figured it out.

Scenario:
My computer was running fine for a year.
I move computer to a new location.

I decided to copy the contents of my C drive to my E drive (about a 2-3 hour operation).
I format my C and re-install Windows XP SP1.
I started to install drivers, and then I noticed that my machine was moving at a crawl.
I reboot computer and before it enters Windows, it auto performs CHKDSK on my E drive -massive amounts of data gets "fixed"
!!!!Can't access E drive. Error about something "parameter". Googled it and though I found the error, all the fixes were unrelated to my situation.
!!!!Next day, my F drive gets corrupted. I get the same error, but I refrained from running CHKDSK.
I used a utility to recover data from F, but data from E was unrecoverable (prob b/c of CHKDSK?)
I use Western Digital's A disk boot utility to run diagnostics on both HDs. Both pass all tests.
I can't format F drive from Windows before or after running CHKDSK.
I use WD's utility to write all 0's to F drive so I can format it again. But now I can't seem to get my computer to recognize it above the 137GB limit. So for now this drive is just unformatted.

I use Windows as normal for about a week. During that time, I copy an image of a DVD to my E drive.
!!!!I notice a week later, WinDVD is unable to play it b/c the data is corrupted.

I move computer to another new location. For 2 months it was running fine. But here's the current situation:

I have been using my E drive fine for awhile now.
Recently I began ripping DVDs to that drive (E).
!!!!Today one of the folders containing a movie was corrupted. I could not access it until i ran ScanDisc.
!!!!When I play any of the movies I watch, randomly in the middle, segments of another movie will play. It seems as if the data are overlapping each other.

My initial theories:
1. Since I put a heavy load on the E drive backing up the C, I thought it was a hardware failure.
2. Since the 2 successive HD failures occured back to back, I did not think it was a hardware failure. And since it was right after I reformatted my Windows, at a time when I did not have an Anti-Virus installed, I thought it was a dormant virus lying on one of my other HDs that attacked now that it was free.
3. Since I moved to a new location, it was a power issue? Bad power plug? Overloaded power? Top plug was used to power a mini-fridge. Bottom plug for my machine.
4. Since my E drive has been acting weird STILL with corrupting data, dying HD? Would this mean my F drive is also dying?
5. Mild OC from 2.4GHz to 2.8 killing my rig? Why would this affect my HDs tho? PCI frequency locked.

My Rig:
Antec Sonata Case w/ 380W TruePower PSU
Asus P4P800 Deluxe
Intel 2.4C P4 (OCed to 2.8 FSB at 234MHz, 1:1 ratio, loose RAM timings)
Zalman CNPS7000A-AlCu HSF w/ Arctic Silver 5
Kingston HyperX PC4000
M-Audio Revolution 7.1
Sapphire ATI Radeon 9600 Pro Ultimate
1 Maxtor 80GB HDD
3 Western Digital 200GB HDDs (1 Promise HDD Controller Card)
Plextor 48/24/48A CD-RW
Plextor PX-708A DVD+/-RW

Peripherals:
Klipsch Promedia 5.1
Planar ML-201

I doubt it's a virus. I'll say it could be PSU related or power related. I would try to zero the hdd again but this time hook up the hdd one at a time. This will reduce the amount of power required to ran the system. Let me know what happens when you do it one at a time.
