HD video capture from FiOS

I posted this in the video card section, but thought whoops maybe wrong forum.

I have Verizon FiOS. I was wondering if ther was a way to capture the HD broadcasts on to my hard drive.
I do have dvr, so if not...is there a way to remove those files from the dvr and copy to my hard drive?

IF there is a firewire port on the box, AND it's active in the firmware, AND it's not encrypted, AND you can find a hacked driver for an unknown PnP video device and get it to run properly, AND capture the resulting stream........maybe. I'm guessing "No".
