i have a Maxtor ATA-66. 7200RPM HD. would i see a speed upgrade if i got a Maxtor ATA-100 7200rpm hd?

Basically what im saiyng is ATA-100 worht upgrading to?
 
well it will be faster....just be sure your mobo supports ata100....should i think be about 33% increase in burst data transfer...as for sustained data rate..i dont think its as dramatic
 
ok will i notice a big difference if i raid 2 ATA-100 7200RPM drivers using this controller (thinking about doing that) Promise Fasttrak 100TX2 RAID Controller Card. i dont care about BENCHMARKS. im wondering if i would see a difference in speed
