i used to have hd temps like in the 35-40 range now they are up on the 50's, u may call me excessive but all i care about is that all my hardware is kept under 45. another question, if i have one hd in the bottom of the 3.5 cage should i move it up next to the cd rom drive or leave it at the bottom? and if i were to get a hd cooler, should i put it on top or underneath the hd. thanks

ps the hd cage im talking about is in a shuttle

If you're really worried, get some COolermaster 11s... They are huge Aluminum heatsinks for your HDs, with a fan moving air inside the HD housing.

Or you could ice it down. Anyone ever heard of cold air intake for a computer? That would be sweet. (sweet = dorky)
