HD Tach results, sign of imminent harddrive failure?

I've got this huge dip on my main drive in the read speed. Makes me wonder if that section has gone bad or something?

Odd. You could always download/run SeaTools and see what the diagnostics say. Do you have SMART enabled in the BIOS? And just in case, do you have the data on the drive backed up somewhere else. 🙂

Passed the long self test, I guess it's okay. Still Odd though...

you should be fine...just backup in case.

Try running the test multiple times with a clean reboot (safe mode etc) and see if the dip is still there.
