HD support cut out of Vista 32bit ?

Didn't see that, sorry..

But it's hard to keep track in the 4 -5 forums I spend time in. 🙂

Everybody move along, nothing to see.

MicroSoft has your best interest in mind..

That's an interesting situation. However - I for one, would not even consider watching an HD movie on my computer when I have a perfectly good HDTV with a 40-in screen.

And, I don't plan to invest in Vista until I upgrade to a 64 bit system. Microsoft is shutting the door on some folks for sure - but I have to believe it was done with more marketing data than most of us have at hand.

When it comes to making money, I have a lot of respect for them.

People said the same about watching DVD's ..

But some people use HTPC's connected to those expensive displays.. They make great scalers ...

The current Toshiba HD-A1 is a pc.

Agree! But the numbers in that market may not justify the expense of implementing it. Besides, it is another way of pushing prople to 64 bit.

BTW - this same topic is a thread in Operasting systems.
