OK, I have two WD drives, MSI board and running WinXP. Occassionally, I notice when I choose "restart" from XP and when the computer is ALMOST ready to restart (before it goes to the CMOS screen), one of my WD drives shuts down (this doesn't happen frequently though). I just noticed it happened today (once). What do you think it's wrong? After the reboot and during loading XP, there is a utility that pops up and scan my HDs for errors.
Could it be power supply problem or something else? Could it be software?
