Anyone have any input on these 3 Drive Scanning Tools?

I wanna run something in the background of my FlexRAID server to monitor Drive Health. I am currently on the 30 Day Trial for StableBit Drive Scanner and I like the interface but the surface scan takes SOOOOO long.

I have used HD Tune Pro to monitor Temps and SMART data in the past and keep it installed but haven't seen much point in letting it run in the background to this point.

Tried HD Sentinel a few years ago and it seemed to run more in depth than HD Tune Pro but also seemed more invasive.

I used hard disk seninal as well as hd tune.both are good. Hard disk sentinal is very intensive it constantly runs and is a little heavier then others. I use crystal disk info on my laptop and it does a good job. tells you're smart data and is not very invasive.

All you care to know for a drive's health is in the SMART data, usually a few raw values. Data scans are generally doing no good, as any RAID should be set up to automatically do scrubbing, which should detect, log, and if possible, correct, data errors found.

Check out HDD Guardian (smartctl for Windows GUI), for another option.
