HD Problems

Hello,

I have a 640gb and a 1tb Caviar Black in my desktop. The 1tb has fairly normal HDtune results, but the 640gb one is abysmal; there are huge spikes and I feel this has lead to a number BSODs. Any thoughts on what might be causing this?

does the error scan in HDtune come back OK?

You can download some WD diagnostic tools from the WD site and run them to check the drive.
