My 60GB Maxtor has some troubles.

In Computer Management it says that the disk is healthy but at risk. I dont have a clue what I can do... its 60gb.. dont want to loose it
 
well, it just stopped working once, just wasnt there any more, and then I got a error when I was writing on it.
 
sounds like you need to be doing some backing up, pronto!
does Maxtor not have an utility like IBM's drive fitness that you can use on the drive?
 
Bacillus is right, backup, NOW. Then go to the Maxtor site and get their free utility, I think it's called Maxblast.
