i woke up and saw an error message from win2k...something along the lines of Error Delayed Writing to volume#/drive#...something like that....stupid of me not to write down the full message.
soon after that, my machine froze and once i rebooted. bootup would reach the win2k logo startup screen(got past the black one fine) but it will never complete the last part of the progress bar. it just hangs there. no error messages either.
at first, bios would not pickup the drive. then it just started detecting the drive again. i disconnected the drive and the system book up fine. how can i get the drive to work again? preferable with data intact.
