HD on Vista.

IIRC there was going to be some kind of digital security in Vista that would require a monitor to have chip to play HD movies in Vista.
I haven't seen anything on this issue lately, so I am not sure if this is still true.
Does anyone know if:
A) You need a monitor with a special chip to play HD video in Vista?
B) Would the Vista Certified label indicate the monitor had that chip and/or ability to play HD?
