Hey guys, I've had this network adapter sitting around forever, and I have been meaning to get HD Loader or something along those lines to load my games into my PS2 for convenience (and in some games cases) to get rid of the loading time (Gran Turismo games etc).

I can get HD Loader or HD Advance 2. I have found a list of compatibility for HD Loader, but HD Advance is supposed to be newer, so you should be able to use more games with it, no? Is there a place that I should be reading?

And let's keep the talk off of pirating games, that is not my intention and I do not need to have this thread locked. Hopefully this is within guidelines.

If you have an extra hard drive, I would get HD Loader. It won't do PS1 games, but it does a very large percentage of the PS2 games.
Just do a search for HDLoader on google. Lots of forums around.

I found a list, but isn't HD Advance supposed to be better in like every way? Can I assume that all of the games that work on HD Loader will work on HD Advance?

I can only seem to find HD Advance 2.0, does anyone know where I can buy 3.0 or if there are any advantages besides that it will take a larger HDD?

The main thing that I am concerned about is being able to use the HD Advance Dump program to move DVD-9 games over to the PS2.
